Jake Phillip Morris is a 25-year-old artist based out of Winston-Salem, North Carolina

Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Morris’s art includes themes of reflection on the self, finding identity, and exploring headspace. Often depicting abstract portraiture in liminal spaces. Morris believes in human expression that exists beyond language and how those expressions are able to decipher emotions and anything we can’t properly put into words. With an emphasis on identity and relationship to nature, Morris describes their art as both a “Release of emotion” and a “Release of humility”. It is an act of putting themselves out in the open and inviting interpretation from others.

Morris’ primary mediums include Oil and Acrylic paintings and digital art including animation.
